Festival Shuttle Bus to Meredith Town
There is a shuttle bus from the site to Meredith Town but its main purpose is to link with public transport options, not to provide a round trip to Meredith Town for non-PT users. The shuttle runs are timed to meet bus services through Meredith Town. The shuttle bus costs $5 per trip (one way). For more details go here.
It is very important to book your return journey into Meredith township for Sunday by 9pm on Saturday night. You can do this at the Info Centre, near the Gift Shoppe.
Butt Bus Lines Shuttle Bus Service
From Melbourne, Ballarat and Geelong
This is a brand new service commencing this year.
The special shuttle bus service operated by Butt Bus Lines runs directly to the Meredith festival site. Note that this is the only mode of public transport to offer a direct service without having to change buses along the way.
They will operate services direct to the festival site on Friday 10 December from Southern Cross Station, Ballarat Station and Geelong Station. The cost is $40 per person return from Southern Cross and $20 per person return from Ballarat or Geelong.
